Biography

Ana C. Brito has done her graduation in Environmental Biology (University of Lisbon-2005) and PhD in Environmental Biology (Edinburgh Napier University-2010). She is currently working as a Research Assistant in MARE-FCUL (FCT CEEC Programme).Ana C. Measuring Light Attenuation in Shallow Coastal Systems

Photosynthetic Active Radiation (PAR) was measured using single planar and two-bulb spherical light sensors. The attenuation coefficient (Kd) was found to vary significantly during the year.
