Alejandro García-Arredondo is a Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology in the Laboratory of Chemical and Pharmacological Natural Products Research within the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ) School of Chemistry, Mexico. Alejandro Received his Bachelor in Science in Chemistry, Pharmacy and Biology from UAQ, his Master in Science from the Neurobiology Institute of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and his Doctorate in Science from the Science of the Sea and Limnology Institute of the UNAM. He is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) of Mexico and the International Society on Toxinology. Currently, his research activities are focused on tarantula and cnidarian venoms.
