Brain cancer surgery has undergone significant advancements over the past few decades, driven by innovations in surgical techniques, imaging technologies, and postoperative care. This review article explores the current state of brain cancer surgery, highlighting key surgical approaches such as craniotomy, minimally invasive techniques, and stereotactic surgery. It examines the role of intraoperative imaging, including MRI and fluorescence-guided surgery, in enhancing tumor resection accuracy. The impact of adjunct therapies like intraoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy on surgical outcomes is also discussed.
