Abstract

Cervical erosion, also known as cervical ectropion or cervical ectopy, is a common gynecological condition where the cells from the inside of the cervical canal appear on the outer surface of the cervix. This condition often causes no symptoms, but it can sometimes lead to abnormal vaginal discharge, spotting, or bleeding, especially after sexual intercourse. Cervical erosion can be diagnosed during a routine pelvic examination by a healthcare provider
